Please review the following prior to registering for the Spring 2026 Little League season.

BGSLL offers coach pitch divisions for our 6 U and 8 U players. Both of these divisions focus on building skills and learning the fundamentals of the game. Girl pitching is introduced in 8 U so the girls can begin to get used to what they will see in older divisions. 10 U and above are all true fastpitch divisions. Fastpitch is closer to baseball and offers a higher-speed game. The pitch, although still delivered in an underhand delivery, comes much faster. Fastpitch is delivered, usually in a windmill type wind-up for more power, and the pitch comes in at a much smaller arc than slowpitch or coach pitch. Because the pitch comes faster, it is much harder to get a hit. Fastpitch also has many more double plays, as it is hard to hit a good solid hit out of the outfield.

One of the biggest differences between fast pitch and coach pitch is you can lead off and steal bases, and players in fast pitch can score on passed balls. Coach pitch runners must stay on their base until the ball is hit. This makes the game closer in strategy to baseball. In coach pitch, there is absolutely no stealing, and you are not allowed to leave the bag until the ball is hit by the batter, making for a slower game. With stealing allowed in fastpitch, speed is just as important as power.

Players will receive a jersey and socks, but will need to provide their own softball pants.

 Please note: due to spring weather, reschedules are expected. We’ve set aside some weeknights and Fridays for make-up games to ensure everyone gets a full season of play.

Wednesday: 12U

Thursday: 10U & 14/16U

Saturday: All divisions 

Games will be a mix of weeknights and Saturday doubleheaders, so please mark your calendars early!

The Brownsburg Legends program is an extension of Brownsburg Girls Softball League (BGSLL), designed to provide year-round skill-building and competitive play for athletes preparing for middle school and high school softball.

Led by experienced coaches, Legends teams focus on:

•Sportsmanship and leadership

•Long-term growth in a fun, supportive environment

All Legends players are expected to participate in BGSLL’s spring recreational season and try out for summer All-Stars.

All players are part of the Practice team. Based on practice effort, performance, and attitude, a roster may be activated from the practice team. An active roster between 11-12 will play in Sunday Alliance in the fall and spring as well as two-three spring tournaments. Active team players will pay an additional fee.
