We are a volunteer based organization that depends on YOU to run smoothly and provide opportunities for each and every girl who wants to play softball.  Interested in helping out?  Here are some ways you can get involved in BGSL:

BGSL Board
The BGSL Board is a great opportunity to get involved with the league. The Board has many different roles including managing league finances, managing the property and grounds, setting and maintaining the league rules and bylaws, managing the website and sponsors, managing the concession stand, and serving as a league director. The Board meets twice a month during most of the year and we are always in need of new members.  If you are interested in being considered for a board position, please fill out the following:

Coaching
We have head coaching and assistant coaching opportunities on each level, ranging from 6u - 14/16u, each season. The head coach is responsible for coordinating practices and games and teaching the girls the fundamentals of softball and good sportsmanship. The assistant coach is responsible for helping with practices and games. Team Parent
The Team Parent's duties and responsibilities are to do the administrative tasks for the team which will allow the Manager to concentrate on coaching, the players and team development.

Concessions
From time to time we ask for volunteers in order to ensure concession operations run smoothly.  We also have additional volunteer shifts available during hosted tournaments in the spring and summer.  All volunteers must be at least 12 years of age.
